Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi is wanted by Fulham and Italian Serie A side Inter Milan as he continues to negotiate a contract extension with Everton.

Football Transfers claims that clubs are reportedly considering the Nigerian international and have had discussions with Everton over a transfer fee.

The 27-year-old Nigeria international is now in the penultimate year of his contract at the Toffees. If he fails to sign a new deal with Everton this summer, he would be a free agent next summer as he has just a season left on his current contract.

Iwobi gave the Toffees evidence that he can excel in several positions throughout the previous season.

He spent a significant amount of his time at the Toffees playing under Frank Lampard as one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League.

He has played wide under Sean Dyche, but it’s feasible he might be tucked in and utilized as an eight if one or more talented wide attackers are added this summer.

He is one of the club’s most talented players, thus the Merseyside club are making every effort to agree on a new deal with him.

Aside from Fulham and Inter Milan, West Ham United are said to be interested in Alex Iwobi this summer.

The Hammers are considering making a move to bring the former Arsenal midfielder back to London, according to Football Transfers.

Alex Iwobi has developed into a revelation for Everton since becoming more of a center midfielder throughout the previous few seasons.

Since he left Arsenal for Everton in 2019 for a transfer fee worth €30.40 million, Iwobi has scored 9 goals and provided 16 assists in 138 games in all competitions.
