Nollywood actor, Charles Inojie has taken to his social media page to mourn the death of his colleague Cynthia Okereke.

The comic actor via his Instagram page shared a photo of the deceased saying that the news of her death left him speechless.

He prayed for her to rest in peace and said he would appreciate their friendship forever.

“Words fail me. Rest in peace, my friend, aunt, and mom. I will forever appreciate your friendship,” he wrote.

Cynthia, who was taken captive by kidnappers last year, died at the age of 63.

The late actress’s colleague Joseph Okechukwu announced the sad news on his Instagram page on Wednesday, July 12.

The filmmaker revealed that he was about to pay for Cynthia’s flight ticket to come to the United States but she died on Tuesday night.

Sharing her photo, Joseph wrote: “REST IN PEACE, Nwanyi oma. I’m shattered beyond words. The fact that I was about to pay for your flight ticket to come finish what we started only to here you went to be with Lord just last night is one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to deal with in recent times. I pray I’m able to recover from this shock. Life is really just a mist. One minute you have it, the next you don’t.

“For the more than 20 years that I’ve known you, you’ve been such an amazing, decent and lovely soul to be around. I never imagined you’d exit so unceremoniously. Words fail me. Sleep on, Cynthia. May your gentle soul rest on till we meet again in glory.”
