Anxiety In Gospel Music Industry As Mercy Chinwo ‘Severes Ties’ With Minister GUC

Nigerian Gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, has severed ties with her colleague and friend, Gift Ugochi Christopher, popularly known as Minister GUC.

Naija News reports that this is coming amidst reports that the duo are enmeshed in a faceoff over an undisclosed issue.

A check on their pages shows that the gospel ministers have unfollowed each other on the photo and video-sharing app, Instagram.

Prior to unfollowing each other on Instagram, Mercy Chinwo and Minister GUC were good friends and even performed at each other’s weddings.

Mercy was also formerly signed to the music record label with Minister GUC.

Meanwhile, Minister GUC has also been putting out posts in the last few days, centered on not expecting much from people, which many claims were aimed at Mercy Chinwo.

He wrote: “Do good, help , assist as you can, and trust God to reward you.

“You see, man? Never trust that they will return the favour or repay you. You will be wasting your time.

“No matter what comes your way or is said, keep being who you are
