I Don’t Need Police, Army To Rig Election – Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has said that he does not need operatives of the Nigeria Police Force or the Nigerian Army to rig any election.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain stated this on Wednesday morning during a media chat in Port Harcourt, Rivers State capital.

Naija News understands that Wike said this while reacting to speculations about the event of the just concluded presidential, national assembly, governorship and house of assembly elections in the state.

“Why would I need the Police to rig an election, why would I need the Army? It is only those that have not been able to offer anything that is dependent on security agencies to help them rig elections. I don’t need it,” Wike said.
