‘You Prevailed Over These Children’ – Keyamo Reacts To Desmond Elliot’s Victory

The spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Festus Keyamo, has congratulated Desmond Elliot for winning Surulere 1 constituency seat.

Recall that the LP Supporters, popularly known as Obidients, had vowed to vote against Desmond in the Lagos State House of Assembly election.

Taking to his Instagram page, the lawmaker shared a video of his visit to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, thanking him for his support towards the state assembly election.

He described Gbajabiamila as his father, mentor, leader, and speaker of the nation.

Sharing the video on his Twitter page, Keyamo wrote: “Congratulations, Desmond Elliot. You prevailed over ‘these children’ at last.”

Reason Tinubu Was Able To Win The 2023 Elections

Meanwhile, Festus Keyamo has said that the President-elect, Bola Tinubu was able to win the 2023 presidential election because he is a pan-Nigerian candidate.

Keyamo stated this during an interview with TVC.

Naija News reports that Tinubu polled 8,794,726 votes. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had the second-highest figure with 6,984,520 votes, while Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), was next with 6,101,533 votes

Reacting to his principal’s victory, Keyamo insisted that Tinubu won because he got his mandate from the people.

He argued Tinubu was “the only candidate that had votes across Nigeria and received votes from across various sections and demographics”.
