Retired Lagos Police Commander Embarrassed For Refusing To Handover

The retired commander of 23PMF, Lagos State, ACP Joe Dan Arumse, has been embarrassed by his former colleagues for refusing to leave office and handover to his successor.

In a video clip that surfaced on social media, Arumse’s subordinates were seen asking him to pack his things and leave the office immediately.

This development comes amid the deployment of police officers to different states across the nation for the 2023 general elections.

Recall, the inspector-general of police, Usman Baba on February 16, noted that Nigerian police Force (NPF) deployed 310 973 personnel for the elections security operations across the nation.

He noted that this will comprise of conventional policemen, the mobile policemen, the special counter-terrorism unit, in special forces, intelligence response team and other section of the police.
