IPOB Lawyer Speaks On Nnamdi Kanu Sacking Legal Representative

The Senior Lawyer to the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Aloy Ejimakor has described as false reports making the rounds about the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, sacking a senior member of the legal team.

Naija News understands that Kanu’s legal team has debunked reports that he was planning to change sack one of his senior lawyers.

This online news platform learnt that they were earlier reports alleging that Kanu was angry with the said senior lawyer for not being able to facilitate his release.

It was gathered that the pro-Biafra agitator in the said report is unsatisfied with how his case is being dealt with, hence he wants to relieve one of his legal representatives.

Kanu was said to have been reportedly angry with the said senior lawyer, who he accused of not being able to secure his release from custody since his incarceration for what he described as no crime.

However, reacting on behalf of the legal team, Ejimakor, who is a special counsel to the IPOB leader, said there was nothing of such as he and Kanu never discussed anything close to that.

He told Daily Post that the report is a “False story. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu never discussed such with me last Monday. Our discussions were not even close to what was reported here.

“I suspect that someone, a desperate and deranged person, is trying to pit the legal team against me or infuse disarray into the legal team.

“There have been similar false stories like this in the recent past.”
