Many Feared Dead, Several Others Injured As Train Collides With BRT Bus In Lagos (Videos)

Many people reportedly lost their lives, with several others injured in an accident involving a train and BRT bus loaded with passengers in Ikeja, Lagos State.

Naija News learnt that the train collided with the BRT on Thursday morning at Adekunle Fajuyi way in Ikeja.

A significant number of casualties are anticipated following the level of the collision as the BRT was dragged from the Ikeja Along area to Shogunle.

The Director of, Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority, Adebayo Taofiq, confirmed the accident in a statement.

He said the BRT is the Government staff bus with registration no 04A- 48LA and the accident recorded many casualties.

“The accident recorded many casualties as the staff bus is fully loaded with govt staff going to the office this morning”
