UK Detention: Why Peter Obi Cannot Be Trusted - Fani-Kayode

The special projects’ director of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Femi Fani-Kayode has reacted to the trending report that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi won 19 states in the just concluded presidential election.

Fani-Kayode reacted on Monday following some trending social media reports which claimed Obi won 19 states in the just concluded elections contrary to the twelve (including Abuja) as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in its official result.

The former Aviation Minister in his reaction described the reports as the greatest and most obvious falsehood and deception in the history of Nigerian politics.

He added that it is a lie which the public should ignore.

Taking to his Twitter account, Fani-Kayode wrote: “The greatest & most obvious falsehood & deception of this dispensation & possibly in the history of Nigerian politics is the absurd notion that @PeterObi & his Labour Party won 19 states in the just concluded presidential election. It is a horrendous mendacity & a monstrous lie.”

Wike, PDP Will Be Defeated In Rivers State

Meanwhile, the Labour Party (LP) candidate for the March 11 governorship election in Rivers State, Beatrice Itubo has expressed confidence about emerging victorious at the polls.

The LP candidate said she is sure of defeating the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flagbearer, Siminalayi Fubara who is the anointed candidate of Governor Nyesom Wike.

According to her, the people of the state are tired of the regular politicians and the big parties who get to power and forget about the people who voted them in.

She said just like it happened during the presidential elections, the people of Rivers State would support justice, fairness, and equity.
