Lagos: Sanwo-Olu Will Learn That Power Does Not Come From Bourdillon - Okonkwo

Nollywood actor cum spokesman of the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, Kenneth Okonkwo, has slammed the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, over his silence on thugs attack during the just concluded election.

Naija News reports that the thespian in a post via Instagram urged supporters of LP to come out en mass and vote during the March 11 governorship election amidst the defeat at the presidential election.

He also referenced how a particular tribe was harassed and brutalized for voting for their preferred presidential candidate and Sanwo-Olu failed to issue a statement on it.

Kenneth added that Sanwo-Olu witnessed how the presidential election was manipulated in Lagos State, hence does not serve a second term in office.

He wrote: “Sanwo-Olu was there when non-supporters of APC were told not to come out to vote, he kept quiet. He was there when one Baale confessed that they were given directives from the leadership of APC in the State to destroy anyone that will not vote APC, but he kept quiet.

“He was there when a particular tribe was killed and harassed for voting their choice, he kept quiet. He was there when people from his own tribe including women were brutalised for voting their choice, and he kept quiet. He was there when votes were scattered, and ballot boxes and papers snatched by thugs and agberos he employed in government offices, he kept quiet.

“He was there when the presidential result was manipulated and not transferred to the INEC IREV Portal and Server even 7 days after the election, when it was meant to be transmitted from the polling unit the same day, he kept quiet.

“All democratic norms were broken under Sanwo-Olu and he kept quiet. If Sanwo-Olu is allowed to stay in office, the victory of the Obidients last Saturday in Lagos will be useless.

“Vote Gbadebo Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour of Labour Party on 11th March, for a new Lagos State free from State capture and will be run by the people of Lagos State. Obidients will not build and another inhabit. Help Sanwo-Olu to keep quiet forever by voting him out.”
