The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed all parties’ official results of the presidential election conducted in Lagos State on Saturday, February 25th, 2023.

Naija News reported earlier that the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, won in Lagos State, and defeated the State’s former governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu.

It was a serious battle for votes between the duo but Obi eventually won the race despite winning fewer Local Government Areas behind Tinubu.

Results collated from all the 20 local governments in the state showed that Tinubu won in 11 LGAs while Obi won in nine local governments.
