Osinbajo Arrives Hometown For Election, Meets APC Leaders (Photos)

The Vice-President of Nigeria, Yemi Osinbajo on Friday arrived in his hometown, Ikenne in Ogun state, ahead of the 2023 presidential and national assembly elections. It

Nigerians, today (Saturday) will vote for President Muhammadu Buhari’s successor and lawmakers in the 10th National Assembly.

The spokesperson to Osinbajo, Laolu Akande in a post on Twitter on Friday said his principal arrived in his hometown on Friday afternoon.

According to Laolu, the Vice President upon his arrival at his hometown held a series of meetings with the All Progressives Congress (APC) and community leaders at his residence.

He noted that Osinbajo will be voting tomorrow at polling unit Unit 14, Egunrege in Ikenne LGA.

Laolu wrote, “Ahead of tomorrow’s national elections, VP Osinbajo arrives in Ikenne this afternoon, holding a series of meetings with APC and community leaders at his residence. He will be voting tomorrow at Polling Unit 14, Egunrege in Ikenne LGA.”

Osinbajo since his defeat at the presidential primaries of the APC has been silent about political-related issues concerning his party.

Recall that Osinbajo was defeated by Tinubu during the presidential primary of the ruling party.

The Vice President upon his defeat failed to attend any of the presidential campaigns of the party, an action which the spokesman for the APC presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo said its a directive from President Buhari.
