A member of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, escaped being lynched on Saturday, during the election in Abuja.

The incident occurred at the polling unit inside LEA Primary School in the Lugbe area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Naija News reports that the NYSC member was mobbed for alleged electoral malpractice.

An eyewitness who spoke with DAILY POST said the NYSC member was caught allegedly thumb-printing ballot papers in favour of a political party.

The video of the incident shows the corp member was mercilessly beaten and attacked by dozens of youths who challenged him for engaging in such misconduct.

A woman reportedly begged the angry crowd not to kill him as it took the intervention of some residents and security operatives to save the young man from being lynched.

Fake DSS Officials Caught Monitoring Election In Osun

Fake officials of the Department of State Service (DSS) have been caught in a polling unit in Ila Orangun, Osun state.

In a video making the rounds on social media two fake DSS officials were caught monitoring the election.

The perpetrators who revealed that they were from Ibadan claimed that their company sent them to the venue to monitor the election.
