#NigeriaDecides: Peter Obi Leads Tinubu, Atiku In Benue

The standard bearer of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, is currently leading the presidential race in Benue State.

Naija News gathered that results trickling from some polling units in parts of Makurdi metropolis of Benue show the former Governor of Anambra State in an early lead.

At the St. Mary primary school polling units in North Bank, Makurdi, Obi polled 103 votes to defeat Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 45 votes.

While Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 3 votes to come a distant third.

Also at the Government House clerk market polling units, the candidate of the LP scored 42, while PDP had 6 votes and the APC scored 16 votes.

The LP candidate also scored 139 votes at the government house protocol polling unit leaving the PDP’s Atiku with 8 votes and APC’s Tinubu scoring 59 votes.

Similarly, at 72 barracks junction polling unit, the APC had 22 votes and LP got 96 while PDP scored 3 votes.

At the polling station of BSU second gate, LP scored 58 votes while APC had 42 and PDP polled only 2 votes.
