Nigerian Socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chiefpriest, has vowed to sponsor the education of Yusuf Alami, the teenage boy who stood in front of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi’s convoy at the Lagos campaign rally.

Naija News reports that Cubana Chiefpriest via his Instagram page shared a background story of the young boy, stating his life will never remain the same.

According to him, Yusuf is a secondary school dropout, pushes trucks, and engages in offloading jobs in Lagos.

The celebrity barman said he is sending Yusuf back to school with a promise to sponsor his education till the end of his tertiary institution.

He wrote: “Yusuf’s Life Will Never Be The Same Again, He Has Received So Much That Will Take His Family & Him Out Of The Trenches. Dude Dropped Out Of School In JSS 2 To Push Truck & Do Offloading Jobs So I’m Sending Him Back To School Where He Belongs Till The End Of His Tertiary Institution.

“Obidents, You Guys Are Champions, You Guys Made A Nobody Somebody You Guys Made The Poor Rich You Guys Are Really The Change We Are Talking About On Election Day Let’s Go Out To Vote And Also Protect Our Votes So We Can Perfect All That We Started.”

Reason For Standing In Front Of Peter Obi’s Convoy

Meanwhile, Yusuf Alami, captured in an iconic photo with Peter Obi, has revealed why he stood in front of the latter’s convoy during his campaign rally in Lagos State.

The former governor of Anambra State rounded up his state presidential campaign in Lagos, on Saturday with a rally held at the Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos Island, after campaigning across the 36 states of the federation.

In the picture that went viral on social media, Yusuf Alami is seen stretching his arms out wide in front of a Toyota Prado SUV, with Peter Obi standing through the open roof of the car, smiling at the teenager.

According to PUNCH, the 15-year-old boy during an interview disclosed that he stood in front of the convoy because of his love for the LP flagbearer.
