Buhari To Attend APC Presidential Campaign Rally Finale In Lagos

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to attend the grand finale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential campaign rally in Lagos State today, Tuesday.

Naija News reports that the President is expected to lead the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) to the home state of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The planned APC campaign rally grand finale is set to take place today (Tuesday) at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.

Expected at the rally are the APC Vice Presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima; the National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu; the Director General of the PCC and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, all APC State Governors, members of the National Assembly and other prominent leaders of the party.

The chief host, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is expected to welcome President Buhari and other APC leaders to the nation’s commercial city.

In a statement on Sunday, the Publicity Secretary of the APC Lagos State Chapter, Seye Oladejo, said the rally will round up the party’s campaign, which has seen Tinubu traverse all the nooks and crannies of the country, selling his “Renewed Hope” manifesto.

He said the rally has been put together to showcase the traditional hospitality of Lagosians and underscore the tremendous support enjoyed by Tinubu not only as the founder of modern Lagos but also celebrate him as the hero of Nigeria’s nascent democracy.

The Lagos APC spokesman said the state government has made solid arrangements to ensure there is no disruption to the normal daily activities of citizens.

According to him, special attention has been given to the security and safety of participants and supporters to ensure a hitch-free event.
