Naija News reports that the governor made this known in a statement through his Special Adviser on Media Projects, Crusoe Osagie, on Monday, February 20, 2023.
According to the statement, the free bus service provided by all Edo City Transport Service (ECTS) will end on election eve, Friday, February 24, 2023.
Obaseki noted that the extension became necessary because the cash crunch experienced by the people in the state has remained unabated.
The government urged the masses to maintain peace and remain law-abiding as normalcy will soon be restored in the country.
Obaseki added that his administration has intensified efforts to bring a lasting solution to the Naira notes crisis.
You Have No Right To Order My Arrest
