Lai Mohammed and Tinubu

Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, has faulted how the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, is going about with his campaign rally ahead of the February 25th poll.

Naija News reports that Tinubu during his campaign across over twenty states so far has failed to list out his plans to woo voters but instead engages in throwing shades at opposition parties as well as dancing.

When questioned if President Muhammadu Buhari‘s scorecard and Tinubu’s project in Lagos, while he was governor, are two different things, Lai Mohammed told TVC that they are inseparable because Tinubu is part of the current administration unlike if he is an independent candidate or if he is coming in from another party.

According to him, Tinubu is meant to use Buhari’s scorecard to campaign however, the difference is the case.

He added that if Tinubu cannot say what APC has done in the past eight years, it would be difficult for anyone to vote for him.

Why Lagos Transformative Agenda Can’t Be Replicated In Nigeria

Meanwhile, Bola Tinubu has given reasons why the popular Lagos State transformative agenda can not work in Nigeria as a whole.

According to him, the Lagos transformative agenda would be difficult to replicate across the country because Nigeria is a complex state.

The former Lagos State governor said Nigeria is variated and so such can not be achieved.

Tinubu said giving space to state governments would allow them to thrive and grow economically.
