Watch Moment Atiku Told Nigerians To Vote For APC During Kogi Rally

A photo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, from his campaign rally in Kogi State, has sparked mixed reactions online.

Naija News earlier reported that  Atiku Abubakar on Saturday took his campaign to Kogi State ahead of the 2023 elections.

The PDP candidate was in Kogi to solicit the votes of the people ahead of the February 25 presidential elections as he hopes to take over from President Muhammadu Buhari on May 29, 2023.

Atiku’s running mate, Ifeanyi Okowa, the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu and several other stalwarts of the party stormed Lokoja, the state capital to convince the electorate to vote for the party.

The rally held at the Kogi Confluence Stadium is the first campaign Atiku will hold since he returned to Nigeria after about two weeks outside the country.

Despite the success of the campaign rally, a photo from the event captured the moment a security aide supported Atiku while standing.

This comes a few weeks after the former vice president was rumoured to have been rushed out of the country for medical treatment.

The security personnel assisting Atiku is similar to the reasons why many criticize the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinub as being unfit.

The photo sparked mixed reactions from netizens, while some likened him to Tinubu and called on the party’s presidential spokesman, Dino Melaye to defend him others referenced his old age.
