The presence of heavy security was seen at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park in Osogbo capital of Osun State,  the venue of the campaign rally for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi

Naija News reports that Obi arrived at the venue of the campaign, in the company of his entourage and heavy security.

Amongst scores of security operatives seen at the rally inclued policemen, Department of State Service operatives and officers of the Nigeria Civil Defense Corps, and private guards.

Joyful crowds were captured singing the praises of the LP flag bearer after he stepped down from the helicopter.

He also approached the crowd which was standing afar, and waved at them.

Meanwhile Peter Obi has promised that Nigerian youths will no longer need to leave the country for greener pastures if he becomes President in 2023.

Obi pledged to implement policies that would secure the future of youths and pay attention to unemployment to ensure graduates get paid jobs.

The former governor vowed to end poverty, corruption and insecurity if elected in the forthcoming of presidential election, adding that his administration will bring good governance to the doorsteps of Nigerians.
