2023: I Promise To Serve Nigeria With All My Strength - Tinubu

Bashir Ahmed, the special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, on Digital Communication, has revealed why the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, could not speak much at the Kano State campaign rally.

Naija News earlier reported that supporters and members of the APC received the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano on Wednesday, January 4, 2023.

A video clip from the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign venue showed a mammoth crowd cheering the presidential candidate as he addresses them.

However, the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign council, Dino Melaye, reacting via Twitter, accused APC of renting crowd in Kano and spoke less than a minute at the event.

Dino described the rally as shameful and embarrassing, stressing that Tinubu also failed to give his policy statement and concrete presentation.

He wrote: “Disgraceful, shameful, and embarrassing. Tinubu, after hiring a crowd in Kano, spoke for less than 1 minute. No policy statement or concrete presentation. Please listen and see if God will forgive those packaging this calamity”

Bashir Speaks

A few hours after Melaye’s post, Bashir Ahmed in a post shared on Twitter said Tinubu could not speak very well at the Kano rally because of the overwhelming crowd.

He wrote: “When Bola Tinubu collected the mic,he couldn’t say much because of the overwhelming crowds, he said “Today, I have come home, and all I want to do is dance, thank you Kano, Nagode Kano.”
