‘People Assumed The Worst’ – Judy Austin Speaks On Marriage With Yul Edochie

Nollywood actress, Judy Austin, has subtly reacted to the controversies and taunting comments trailing the marriage to her colleague, Yul Edochie.

Naija News reports that in May 2022, Yul sent social media into a frenzy after announcing his marriage to Judy and the arrival of their son, Star.

May Edochie, who has been married to Yul for over 16 years, said she was unaware of her husband’s decision to take a second wife and has refused to accept it.

Since then many netizens claimed that Yul disrespected his wife, taking every opportunity to hurl insults at him and Judy.

In a post shared on Instagram on Saturday, December 31, 2022, to mark her birthday, Judy said she learned great lessons this year.

According to her, amidst the criticism and backlashes online, endurance became the only option for her.

Judy Austin noted that people assumed the worst about her and ran with it, including some bloggers who ganged up against her to dim her light and tarnish her image.

She wrote: “I learnt a great deal of lessons this year.. I never knew I had so much endurance in me until endurance became the only option…. God really showed me that I’m one of his strongest creations.

“My life is a miracle…. So many things left unsaid… People assuming the worst and running with it… Some bloggers ganging up against me to dim my light and tarnish my image… But God is still God…. Me still standing tall with God and letting nothing or nobody stand in my way.

“Everything about me is a testimony… God’s protection is ever surrounding me… I have absolutely nothing to be afraid of… Happy beautiful birthday to me again!!! It’s still my day.

“And a happy birthday to all my birthday mates… We rock. Thank you guys for all the love your showering on me!!! I don’t take it for granted!!! Love you guys more.”
