Burial Dates For Football Legend, Pele Announced

Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, where Brazilian legend, Pele is currently battling to survive cancer, has confirmed that the legend’s cancer has advanced.

The 82-year-old Brazilian legend Pele is being treated at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein in São Paulo, where officials say his cancer has progressed.

The three-time World Cup champion has spent somewhat more than three weeks in the hospital.

On social media, his daughter announced that he would spend Christmas in the hospital due to his deteriorating condition.

Pele “presents malignant disease progression and requires increased treatment connected to renal and cardiac dysfunctions,” according to the Hospital.

In September 2021, a colon tumor was removed, and Pele has since undergone routine therapy.

Pele’s daughter Kely Nascimento posted on Instagram that “Our Christmas at home has been suspended.”

We and the physicians concluded that, for a variety of reasons, it would be best for us to remain here with all the care that our new family at Einstein provides us.”

Pele’s treatment for a respiratory infection had “a favorable response,” according to the hospital in Sao Paulo, which also noted that his chemotherapy treatment was being “reassessed” shortly after he was admitted.

Pele, who scored 77 goals in 92 games overall for his nation, has also helped the country in winning the World Cup three times, in 1958, 1962, and 1970.
