Unfortunately for United, Osimhen intends to stay at Napoli until the end of the season with the hope of winning a major title with the Italian club.

“It’s one of the best clubs in Europe and I want to win here. The future is this moment, try to win something relevant in Italy”, Osimhen told an Italian publication, Il Matino.

“It’s hard to think about something better than Napoli, one of the best clubs in Italy, right now. I am only focused on this season because we haven’t done anything yet. We must win something and then we’ll see what happens.”

Napoli are currently topping the Italian Serie A table with 41 points in 15 games, 9 points above second-placed AC Milan.

The table leaders will resume their league campaign away at Inter Milan on January 4, 2023.
