Wizkid: Kizz Daniel Postpones Ghana Concert

Following the outrage that accompanied the failure of Nigerian singer, Wizkid to show up at a recent Ghana concert, his colleague Kizz Daniel has postponed his concert that was supposed to hold over the weekend in the country.

The show promoters, Pepperdem Worldwide Entertainment and Play Network Africa, on Tuesday made this known in a brief statement shared on an Accra-based media agency, JoyNews Instagram account, Naija News understands.

“Pepperdem Worldwide Entertainment and Play Network. Africa, organisers of the Kizz live in Ghana concert wish to announce the postponement of the event to a later date to be announced. This they say is due to circumstances beyond their control,” the post read.

An impeccable source says that the event was canceled due to the outcome of Wizkid’s show that was recently held at the Accra Sports Stadium which left many music lovers in the country dismayed.

Recall that Wizkid failed to show up for his show a few days ago, which got a lot of patrons angry and demanded a refund.

In a statement shared on his Twitter page on Sunday night, Wizkid apologized for not showing up at the concert stating he wouldn’t act in such a manner without a serious reason behind it.

The ‘Ojuelegbe’ crooner noted he does not joke with his fans stressing he had prepared, planned, and looked forward to attending the show but had to make a drastic decision.

According to the singer, his absence was due to safety and production issues which prevented him from putting on the high-quality show that his fans deserve.

He added that he and his team would schedule another show for his fans in Ghana.
