List Of PDP Stalwarts At Katsina Campaign Rally

Top stalwarts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Tuesday, attended the party’s presidential campaign rally in Katsina State.

Naija News reports that the rally was held at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina metropolis which was filled to capacity as thousands of PDP supporters welcomed the party’s flagbearer, Atiku Abubakar, and his campaign team to the state.

Top PDP chieftains present at the rally included Atiku’s running mate and Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa; the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu; Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal; former Governors of Niger, Kano, Jigawa and Kaduna, Aliyu Babangida, Ibrahim Shekarau, Sule Lamido, and Ahmed Maikarfi, among others.

The formerr Vice President is aspiring to become the next president of Nigeria in 2023 to replace President Muhammadu Buhari, whose tenure expires on 29 May, 2023.

He needs to defeat stiffer challenge posed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and the Labour Party’s standard bearer, Peter Obi.
