Music star, Tems has topped her colleagues, Davido, Burna Boy and Wizkid after setting a record of becoming  Billboard’s #1 Top US Afrobeats Artist of 2022.

Born Temilade Openiyi, the Try Me crooner was named Billboard’s number one (1) Top US Afrobeats Artist of 2022.

The announcement, Naija News learnt was made on Billboard’s website on 1st of December, 2022.

The Grammy award winner beat top act, such as Davido, Burna Boy, Ckay, Wizkid, Buna Boy, and many others to it.

Singer Tems Address Fans Trying To Make Her Fit Into A Box

Meanwhile, Tems, has addressed fans attempting to make her fit into their box of expectations about the Christianity lifestyle.

The singer set the record straight in a post shared on Twitter, stating she would not uphold anyone’s belief about God because she is not a Christian saviour.

Tems recalled how she started her music career in 2018 and has experienced so much growth in the music industry.

According to the singer, she has worked so much for herself but rarely brags about it because she is not playing the same game.
