PDP Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, has admonished youths to compare the administration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) before going to the poll in 2023.

Atiku said the APC doesn’t care about the future of the youths and should be kicked out for retrogression in the country in the last eight years since it took over power from the PDP.

Naija News reports that the PDP presidential candidate spoke during his campaign rally in Ondo State.

Atiku specifically told the youths not to make the mistake of voting for APC in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.

He said: “We have started our campaign rally in Ondo State in the South-West and it is deliberate because we want to show you that we appreciate what you have done for us in the last election.

“You gave us the highest votes in the South-West during the last presidential election, and we will never forget that.

“That is why if you repeat the same thing, we promise to deal with insecurity; we will also make sure that all the federal roads that lead to Ondo state are motorable.”

Atiku assured the citizens that his administration if elected, would ensure that young men and women were employed.

“We will set aside enough money to make sure that we empower them,” he said.

The former VP added: “That’s why in our policy documents, we said that we will set aside $10 billion to make sure that we provide small and medium enterprises for young men and women to empower themselves. It is our number one priority.

“We will also provide enough funds for education so that our universities shall continue to work perfectly, not the one we are witnessing today. APC doesn’t care for your education.

“You can compare what PDP has done in 14 years to what APC has done in the last 8 years, and you want to repeat to vote for APC again?, We say No.

Atiku Is Fulani But He’s Not A Killer – Wife

Meanwhile, the wife of the PDP presidential candidate, Titi Abubakar, submitted earlier that her husband, Atiku Abubakar is not a killer.

She observed that her husband is truly a Fulani man but is not a killer in any way.

Naija News reports she made her point while speaking on Wednesday at the campaign rally held in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Addressing the crowd of supporters at the event, Atiku’s wife added that the former Vice President won the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria but was robbed.

Also at the same event, Titi promised the Ondo people that her husband will defeat Boko Haram and provide scholarships to students.

She said, “My people I, your daughter standing in your presence to tell that my husband has done it before. The last election was won by my husband but we were robbed. My husband indeed is a Fulani but he is not a killer and we have been together. I taught him our culture and tradition, and he is part of us.” During Obasanjo, it was Atiku that broght the likes of Elrufai, Ngozi Okonjo-iweala and others who did well for Nigeria”.

Atiku’s wife promised that her husband will tackle insecurity if elected in 2023 and would defeat Boko Haram and other terrorist groups.

She said, “Atiku will defeat Boko Haram and provide you with scholarships”.
