Wike, Malami, Others Run For Cover As Heavy Rain Disrupts Project Inauguration

Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, and other dignitaries were forced to seek cover on Friday at the inauguration of the Nigerian Law School, Port Harcourt campus.

Naija News understands that there was a temporary disruption at the event after the weather changed and started raining.

Recall that Malami and top government officials arrived in Port Harcourt earlier today to inaugurate the project.

President Muhammadu Buhari was billed to inaugurate the project known as the Dr Nabo Graham Douglas of the Nigerian Law School but sent Malami as his representative.

The programme had commenced at past 12:00 PM, but the weather changed as it reached its high point.

Minutes later, it started raining heavily, forcing Wike, Malami, and other dignitaries to get off for cover.

Governor Wike, however, led his guests into the auditorium of the law school campus to continue with the address as the rain continued to drop.
