Tinubu Sparks Mixed Reactions As He ‘Renames’ His Campaign Director General, Simon Lalong

The All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, has sparked mixed reactions after a gaffe in which he changed the name of his Campaign Director General, Simon Lalong.

Naija News reports that Tinubu raised eyebrows again over the speculation of suffering from dementia.

The former Governor of Lagos State while acknowledging the presence of the Plateau State Governor, at the party campaign flag-off on Tuesday, called him ‘Solomon Lalong’ instead of his real name, Simon Lalong.

This is not the first time Bola Tinubu would be making such a mistake and many Nigerians have expressed concern that the worst might happen if he eventually becomes the president.

Some Nigerians reacted to the gaffe stating the consistent act might be the reason he is always running away from presidential debates while some claim his party members would defend him.
