World Cup Semi-Finals: Ronaldo Names Favourite Country To Win Title In Qatar

Brazil manager, Adenor Leonardo Bacchi known as Tite, has announced his 26-man squad for the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar.

Naija News recalls that the Seleção, who hosted the 2014 World cup, is seen as the most successful national team, having won the World Cup tournament five times.

Tite’s men will be looking forward to make it six when they travel to Qatar to once again give football fans an impressive show.

Philippe Coutinho will miss the tournament in Qatar after picking a knock, and high-profile striker, Roberto Firmino was dropped, while the Selecao side features 11 strikers, including Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus, Richarlison, who was a doubt, Manchester United’s Antony, and a plethora of others.

Also, Gabriel Martinelli got a well-deserved call-up to the national team after an impressive performance for Arsenal so far this season. The 21-year-old Brazilian will compete in his debut World Cup event.

However, the much tipped Gabriel Magalhes, who has been providing Mikel Arteta cause to retain him in the lineup, will miss the World Cup.

Here is Brazil’s official 26-man squad for the World Cup in Qatar:

Alisson, Ederson, Weverton, D. Alves, Danilo, A. Sandro, Alex Telles Bremer, Militão, Marquinhos, Thiago Silva Casemiro, Ribeiro, B. Guimarães, Fabinho, Fred, Paquetá Antony, G. Jesus, G. Martinelli, Neymar, Pedro, Raphinha, Rodrygo, Richarlison, Vinicius.
