Royale Union St. Gilloise advanced quickly to the UEFA Europa League’s knockout round thanks to two goals from Victor Boniface.

On Thursday night, the Belgian team and Sporting Braga played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at home.

The former Bodo/Glimt forward converted two shots, one in the 20th and the other in the 62nd minute.

Now with three goals for Union St. Gilloise in the competition this year, the former Flying Eagles forward has established himself as a threat.

With 10 points after four games, Union St. Gilloise is unbeaten in the group stage.

Last summer, the 21-year-old moved from the Norwegian club Bodo/Glimt to Les Unionistes and in seven league games for the team, the striker has scored twice.
