UFC fans booed the late Queen Elizabeth at T-Mobile Arena during a tribute and moment of silence in Las Vegas on Saturday 11th September.

Naija News gathered that during the moment of remembrance, many fans in the 18,000-capacity venue were captured booing the late 96-year-old monarch and chanting USA.

This is coming amidst the mourning and tribute from different parts of the world to the monarch who died last Thursday after doctors raised concern about her health.

Ahead of the main card of UFC 279, a picture of the Queen was put up on the main screen inside the arena, with her date of birth and death below, while an announcer read her name out to the crowd in attendance.

However, it was met by loud boos and laughter before it was quickly taken down.

The longest-serving monarch in British history died aged 96, Buckingham Palace announced on Thursday.

All her children — Charles, Princess Anne, 72, Prince Andrew, 62, and Prince Edward, 58, flocked to her Scottish Highland retreat, Balmoral.

They were joined by Charles’s sons, Prince William, and his brother Prince Harry.
