Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has stirred reactions on social media as she reflects on her body transformation.
Naija News recalls that in 2021, the chubby actress opened up on undergoing gastric bypass surgery in Turkey.
What Is Gastric Bypass Surgery?
Gastric bypass is surgery that helps you lose weight by changing how your stomach and small intestine handle the food you eat. After the surgery, your stomach will be smaller. You will feel full with less food.
Giving reasons for her decision, Eniola, in an interview with City People, said she wanted to surprise everyone considering the pressure and stigma she had gone through.
‘It Wasn’t An Easy Journey’
In a recent Instagram post, Eniola shared a collage of her body transformation, after shedding weight.
She noted that it wasn’t an easy journey and advised people on the need to do what makes them happy.
She wrote: “Wasn’t an easy journey………Oju ri tooooo. When you start to do the things that you truly love, it wouldn’t matter whether it is Monday or Friday; you would be so excited to wake up each morning to work on your passions”
Some Nigerians reacted to the photos, applauding the actress for her body transformation.
