Adeleke: Nigerians React As American Singer, Chris Brown Congratulates Davido’s Uncle

American award-winning singer Chris Brown has caused a stir online over his reaction to the outcome of the Osun State gubernatorial election.

Naija News earlier reported that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Ademola Adeleke emerged victorious in the tight race with 403,371 votes beating the incumbent governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who got 375,027.

Amidst the congratulatory messages, Chris Brown surprised many Nigerians as he took to his Instagram story to congratulate Adeleke.

The American singer shared a photo of the governor-elect and accompanied it with emojis.

Since then, the singer has been trending on the microblogging platform, Twitter with some Nigerians reacting to the act.
