Photos From PDP Mega Rally In Osun State

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday held its mega rally in Osogbo, Osun State, ahead of the governorship election in the state.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had scheduled the governorship election in the state for the 16th of July, 2023.

The presidential candidate of the main opposition party, Atiku Abubakar, the national chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu and some PDP leaders gathered on Thursday to address voters in the state.

The PDP is hoping to win the forthcoming election, with claims that the party was denied its victory in 2018.

Other dignitaries in attendance include former Senate President, Bukola Saraki, the Governor of Delta State and Vice Presidential candidate of PDP, Ifeanyi Okowa, the governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, Douye Diri of Bayelsa State and several other party leaders.

Popular Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido was in attendance also to support his uncle who is the governorship candidate of the PDP.
