The Super Falcons of Nigeria have achieved another feat after defeating Cameroon in quarterfinals of the ongoing Women African Cup of Nations in Morocco.

It wasn’t the best start to the competition for Super Falcons after losing against South Africa in the first group game.

Despite the heartbreak, Nigeria have gone on to beat Botswana, Burundi and Cameroon.

The victory against Cameroon means that the Super Falcons will face Morocco in the Semifinals and have also qualified for 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia, New Zealand.

Rasheedat Ajibade scored the only goal of the game in the 56th minutes after a very tough start against Cameroon.

She’s currently the joint top scorer of the tournament and on the road to be the Player of the tournament should Nigeria progress to the Final.

Nigeria will take on host country Morocco on Monday, 18th of July 2022.
