Ikpeazu, Uzodinma Mourn As Ex-Senate President, Adolphus Wabara’s Wife Is Laid To Rest

Former Nigerian Senate President, Adolphus Wabara has finally buried his late wife, Felicia, at their Ohambele-Ndoki residence in Abia State’s Ukwa East Local Government Area.

Speaking at the funeral service at the Ikwueke Community Secondary School in Ohambele, the state Governor Okezie Ikpeazu said that death is a certainty and the final destination for all mortals.

Ikpeazu opined that death stands for God’s supreme power and control over his creation, urging the deceased family to find comfort in the knowledge that God is in complete control and prayed that the passing of Felicia would bring peace to the Wabara family, Ndoki land, and Abia State.

Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma, who was represented by his deputy, Pacide Njoku spoke highly of the deceased and expressed his condolences to the entire Wabara family, while praising Senator Wabara for his distinguished service to the nation in a variety of positions.

Senator Adolphus Wabara, the deceased’s husband praised Ikpeazu and other guests and sympathizers for supporting his family through this difficult time, adding that his late wife died in her faith because she did not waver in the service of God.

The ceremony was graced by many personalities, including Deputy Governor Ude Oko Chukwu, former Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe including serving and former members of the National Assembly, members of the Houses of Assembly of different States, former Chief of Army Staff, General Azubuike Ihejirika, the Amayanabo of Opobo, His Majesty, King Dandeson Jaja, and Secretary General of Ohaneze Ndigbo worldwide, Ambassador Okey Emuchay.
