‘Selecting Funke Akindele As Deputy Governorship Candidate Is Ridiculously Insensitive’ – Uche Maduagwu Slams PDP

Controversial Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has slammed his colleague, Funke Akindele over her new political appointment.

In a post shared on Instagram, Uche affirmed that Funke is a fantastic actress but her selection as Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy governorship candidate for Lagos State is ridiculously insensitive.

Uche recalled how Funke threw a birthday party for her estranged husband, JJC Skillz during the COVID-19 lockdown.

According to Uche, Funke’s negligence on COVID rules and regulations shows she has a long way to go on leadeship.

He wrote: “Aunty Funke Is a fantastic actress but selecting her as deputy governorship candidate for Lagos 2023 is preposterously insensitive. A celeb why no fit respect social distancing by throwing house party during lockdown is ignorant of leadership.
