2023: Tinubu Meets Buhari In Presidential Villa

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Sunday night met with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.

Tinubu met with Buhari hours after the President returned to Abuja from Kigali, Rwanda, where he participated in the 26th Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting and also held bilateral talks with world leaders, Naija News learned.

It was gathered that the meeting might be connected to the choice of the APC vice presidential candidate and the gale of defections in the National Assembly.

As of the time of filing this report, the details of the meeting have not been released by both the Presidency and the Tinubu Campaign Organisation.

Meanwhile, Tinubu has travelled out of the country to Paris, the capital of France on Monday morning.

The former Lagos State Governor departed for Paris, the French capital via the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja.

According to his media office, the APC presidential candidate will hold important political meetings while in Paris.

The media office, however, failed to disclose when Tinubu will return to the country, stating that the frontline presidential candidate is expected back in the country soon.
