Nigerians Are Extremely Difficult To Lead - Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered the immediate rescue of the remaining passengers kidnapped on the Abuja-Kaduna train.

Naija News recalls that the Kaduna-bound train was attacked by some terrorists on March 28, 2022.

The assailants had opened fire on the moving train, killing at least nine people while they whisked away to an unknown location no fewer than sixty others.

However, some victims of the train attack were released two months ago, while eleven victims were freed two weeks ago and were reunited with their families.

In a statement via his official Twitter handle on Tuesday, Buhari ordered security and intelligence agencies to speed up efforts to secure the safe release of all the remaining abducted victims.

The President directed that the hostages must be rescued unharmed and return to their families alive.

He, however, commended the safe return of the recently-released passengers to their families and loved ones.

President Buhari pledged to the families of those still in captivity that his government will not relent until every single hostage is safely back home with their families.

He said, “I have directed our security and intelligence agencies to scale up and speed up efforts to secure the safe release of all the remaining abducted Abuja-Kaduna train passengers. My directive is very clear: All hostages must be brought home ALIVE, and as soon as possible.

“I welcome the safe return of the recently-released passengers, to their families and loved ones. I am reiterating my solemn pledge to the families of those still in captivity: we will not relent until every single hostage is safely back home with their families.
