Former Kaduna Central lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has urged the federal government of Nigeria to take the threats coming from the Kaduna train terrorists seriously.

Senator Sani gave the warning on Tuesday in his reaction to the threat by the terrorists to start killing their victims except the government meets their demands.

Naija News recalls bandit terrorists who abducted passengers on the Abuja-Kaduna bound train have vowed to start killing those in captivity if the Muhammadu Buhari-led government doesn’t meet their conditions.

The terrorists stated that they will start killing the captives in the next seven days if the government refuses to release their children allegedly kept in a Yola detention facility.

According to the Vanguard, leaders of the terrorists spoke on phone to the spokesman of Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, Malam Tukur Mamu, ‘And Dan Iyan Fika.

In the audio of the conversations between Malam Tukur Mamu and the leaders of the terrorists, the terrorists claimed that the Federal Government suspended the resumption of the train service because of their threats.

Reacting to the development, Sani in a Twitter post said the consequences may be unbearable if the government chooses to ignore the fresh threats coming from the terrorists.

He wrote: “The threat made my the terrorists who abducted the Abuja-Kaduna Train passengers that they will start “killing them in 7days time” should be taken seriously. Similar threat was made and ignored two months ago with tragic consequences.”
