‘They Took Him’ – Actor Uche Odoputa Cries Out As Gunmen Kidnaps Father

Veteran Nollywood actor and producer, Uche Odoputa has cried out for help after unknown gunmen kidnapped his aged father, Kenneth.

Naija News reports that Uche Odoputa took to his Instagram to share a photo of his abducted father while pleading with friends and followers for their prayers.

Uche also noted that his family have been making efforts to rescue his father from his abductors since he was kidnapped over two weeks ago.

“Friends please join me in praying for my father safe return from the hands of kidnappers that took him for over 2weeks now 🙏 Mr Kenneth odoputa” he wrote.

In other news, Nollywood stars such as Okon Lagos, Walter Anga and others took to social media to mourn the demise of their colleague, Leo Mezie

Recall, Nollywood actor, Leonard Chimezie Onyemachi died on 14th  May 2022.

The news was announced by Nollywood actress, Chioma Toplis in a post on her Instagram account, as she shared a photo of the actor with a mourning caption; “Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday in Abuja while recovering from a kidney transplant. His corpse has been moved to Umuahia, his hometown. RIP Leo.”

Leonard Chimezie Onyemachi before his demise had featured in the movies alongside prominent Nollywood actors.

He has been battling with kidney disease for a long time and died at the age of 46 on Saturday May 14.
