Administrators of the federal government social intervention programme, Npower have announced the commencement of the shortlisting process for Npower Batch C, stream 2.

The announcement was made across the social media handles of the Npower scheme on Monday, 16th May, 2022.

The concerned successful candidates are expected to proceed for biometric capture after confirming their status on the NASIMS self service portal.

To confirm status, Naija News reports applicants are to log on to www.nasims.gov.ng or dial *45665# and follow the instructions.

The statement reads: “Dear N-Power applicants, shortlisting process for Batch C Stream 2 has commenced.”

It will be recalled that the Federal Government recently disclosed that it has approved the enrollment of additional one million beneficiaries of the NPower programme.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq confirmed this in a statement obtained by newsmen on Sunday, April 3.

The statement quoted the minister as saying that the N-Power volunteer scheme provided temporary job opportunities for 498,602 graduates under Batches A and B, while 450,000 graduates under Batch C Stream 1 were also engaged across States, Naija News reports.

Subsequently, according to Farouq, 390,000 more Nigerians were onboarded for Batch C Stream 2, and that presidential approval has been secured to enrol additional one million beneficiaries.
