Davido’s Lawyer Reacts After Wizkid Loses Big At Grammy

Lawyer to Nigerian Afro Beats Star, Davido, Bobo Ajudua has said that Wizkid deserves the Grammy after the singer failed to secure any Grammy award despite being nominated in two different categories.

Naija News recalls that Wizkid lost a Grammy Award to Angelique Kidjo in the Best World Music Album category.

The Beninese singer on Sunday night won the Best World Music Album for ‘Mother Nature’, at the 64th Grammy Awards.

Angélique‘s fifth Grammy award album ‘Mother Nature’ was worked on by several Producers such as Kel P of (Burna Boy), James Poyser of The Roots, Vtek, Rexxie, Synematik, Blue Lab Beats, -M-, Brad Thomas Ackley, David Donatien and Dany Synthé.

Reacting to the development, Ajudua via his Instagram page note that the award belonged to ‘Essence’. According to Ajudua, Wizkid gave the world an anthem with that song.
