2023: Pastor Adeboye Speaks On Preferred Candidate, Party Ahead Of Elections

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said he has no preferred political party or candidate because the RCCG is mainly represented in every party.

The clergyman made this known on Sunday during the Church’s thanksgiving service in Lagos State, where he noted that he doesn’t have a preferred political party nor candidate because it will be disservice to the other parties fully represented at the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The general overseer further urged his members to go out and vote. According to the 80-year-old man, it is their civil duties to vote and ensure their votes counts.

“As a Nigerian, you have a duty to register, to vote and make sure your vote will count. You have a duty to belong to any party of your choice; you can’t refuse to vote and then complain about the government,” he said.

He also commented on the rising insecurity in Kaduna state. He questioned those trying to isolate the state from the rest of the country.

He lamented that one can not be able to go to state by air and also by land or train. He then asked what state would be next after Kaduna.

Naija News recalls that bandits terrorist had on Monday attacked and killed eight people boarded inside a train headed from Abuja to Kaduna.

The bandits also kidnapped 21 of the passengers according to the Nigerian Railway Cooperation.
