APC National Chairmanship: Sen. Sani Musa Joins Race, Says He Is The Best

An aspirant for the National Chairmanship of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Mohammed Sani Musa has withdrawn from the race.

Naija News reports that this was made known by his spokesman, Nasir Mohammed, on Saturday.

Sani Musa, representing Niger East Senatorial District, made this known hours before the commencement of the APC National Convention.

The lawmaker promised to back Senator Abdullahi Adamu as consensus candidate and President Muhammadu Buhari’s favoured candidate.

Recall that Buhari had on Friday met with the aspirants in a bid to agree on a consensus candidate for all positions.

Meanwhile, another contender for the national chairmanship position of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Tanko Al-Makura had withdrawn from the race.

He withdrew from the race to support Senator Abdullahi Adamu who is believed to enjoy the support of President Buhari.

This development was confirmed by Al-Makura’s spokesperson Danjuma Joseph and comes just a few hours before the commencement of the APC national convention in Abuja.
