IPOB Writes Soludo Over Killings In Anambra

Newly elected governor of Anambra, Charles Soludo has opened up on his plans for prisoners in the state.

The governor stated on Monday that inmates in Anambra prisons will soon have access to news and events about Nigeria and the rest of the world.

This is coming after Soludo paid a visit to Ekwulobia Prison on Sunday.

Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) officials led him on a tour of the facility to see the present condition during his visit.

He said: “I also promise that every leaking roof and damaged infrastructure shall be renovated.

“We will also look into the long outstanding unavailability of power supply by providing solar devices and television sets where inmates can watch football, news, movies, religious activities and entertainment.”
