Bishop Oyedepo Reveals What Can Make Him Curse His Successor

The General Overseer and founder of the Living Faith Church, David Oyedepo, has warned his successor against running the church with a loan.

According to the cleric, he would place a curse on whoever takes over from him if the person decides to run the church on loan.

Oyedepo while addressing his church members, said Living Faith did not get to its current state by running on loan, hence his successor should follow that path.

The cleric wondered why some people live extravagant lifestyles on loan, adding that such action depicts a lack of wisdom.

He added that when he dies, he would be going to heaving smiling knowing that he has not cheated anyone.

Oyedepo said, “There are many stupid wealthy people who are owing more than they own.

“Your net worth is N1 billion and you owe N10 billion. That is minus N9 billion. Is that wisdom? And you will be doing big boy around town but the banks know you are a small boy.

“When I am going to heaven at my old age, if Jesus tarries, there will be a curse on anyone who borrows on behalf of this church until Jesus returns.

“You don’t have to if we got to where we are without borrowing. How dare you? Where did you get it from? I am not owing any man living or dead.

“I am going to heaven smiling. I have not cheated anyone.”
