Why Nigeria Is the African Version of Ukraine – Shehu Sani

Former Kaduna Central lawmaker Shehu Sani has called Nigeria the African version of Ukraine.

The former lawmaker stated that the country is currently in a mess which can also be compared to the present state of Ukraine.

He explained that the national grid collapsed, airlines threatening to shut down due to the high cost and unavailability of aviation fuel, terrorists on a killing spree and ASUU strike is enough to make Nigeria the African version of Ukraine.

He tweeted: “National grid on the verge of collapse, Airlines companies to ‘shut down in three days’, terrorists on killing spree and then ASUU…we are just the African version of Ukraine at the moment.”

The senator also stated via another tweet that none of the issues Nigeria is currently facing were captured in the usual new year prophecies which clergymen release at the beginning of each year.

He wrote: “At the beginning of the year, none of the ‘Prophets’ prophesied Ukraine, national grid failure and energy crisis.”
